Telehealth Therapy
What is Telehealth Therapy?
Telehealth therapy is online counseling that allows you to meet with your therapist through a secure video call—no need to travel or leave your home. It offers the same support and care you'd get in-person, just virtually. Many clients find it convenient, comfortable, and just as effective.
What to Expect in a Telehealth Session with Me
Platform: I use SimplePractice and RemotEMDR, both HIPAA-compliant and secure platforms that protect your privacy.
Before the session: You’ll get an email or text with a secure video link—no logins or downloads required.
Getting set up: Just click the link a few minutes before your appointment time using a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone.
During the session: We’ll talk face-to-face through video, just like we would in an office. You can expect a calm, safe, and supportive space to explore what’s on your mind.
After the session: You can schedule your next appointment, message me securely, or access any shared documents through your SimplePractice client portal.
